It all starts with analyzing what the body is doing and when. To figure this out, Dr. Miller will videotape the golf swing and do an instant one-on-one analysis with you to show you exactly what he is seeing happen with your body during your swing.
The next step is the golf physical exam. This is where Dr. Miller assesses the strength and flexibility of the specific musculature of the golf swing and combines the information from the videotaping and the exam to come up with a plan of correction and improvement.
Once the problem has been identified and a plan is made, the subsequent visits will be one-on-one visits with any combination of balance, flexibility, and strengthening activities. These are the Golf Therapeutic Visits, and they generally last 20-30 minutes. If you only need specific home exercise instruction, then you will have a 10 minute session to go over the exercises. Since these visits are not deemed to be "a correction of a disease or condition", your health insurance will not cover any portion of the costs.
